BIRTH OF THE BRAND
Founded in 2017 by Mr. Jay Makhijani, Simone Ventures (SVPL) established itself with its first Rolex boutique in Mumbai. It has now diversified by launching the first Tudor boutique in Mumbai in 2024. Backed by more than two decades of hands-on experience in the luxury watch industry both in India and overseas, SVPL’s founder has always embodied the TUDOR’s BornToDare spirit which has made him an important contributor to India’s luxury retail sector and the watch industry in the country today.
Established in 1926, as a sister company of Rolex, Tudor is a statement of the Swiss brand’s unwavering commitment to horological excellence. While Tudor draws its lineage from Rolex, it has forged a clearly distinctive path of its own. TUDOR’s first Indian boutique is located a stone’s throw away from the Arabian Sea – in a South Mumbai neighbourhood best-known for the luxury brands it houses.

Anchored by the brand’s three iconic colours—black, red and white—the Tudor boutique is designed to possess a bold and distinctive character, one that best represents the identity of the brand’s timepieces. The three colours are presented in a range of materials, which are used in a clean, streamlined, uncompromising manner. Innovative and functional Tudor watches take centre stage with artistic photos of the brand’s stable of high-profile ambassadors rounding off the visual experience.
THE BORNTODARE OUTLOOK
The TUDOR BornToDare signature, reflects both the history of the brand and what it stands for today. It represents the adventures of individuals, usually anonymous, who have achieved the extraordinary on land, on ice, in the air, or underwater, with a TUDOR watch on their wrists.
